Small Farms Club

The purpose of the Cornell Small Farms Club is to provide information about small farm operations, procedures and methods to anybody interested through field trips, speakers, and other knowledgeable sources. We aim to support and promote small farming among the student body at Cornell.

Some of our previous events have included field trips to Indian Chimney Alpaca Farm, Northland Sheep Dairy, Ziem-Barb-Way Dairy Farm, and Iron Kettle Farm. Occasionally we host special visits with visiting speakers, like John Ikerd. We have also developed a course entitled "Exploring the Small Farm Dream" (see below) for Cornell students.
